Em50 is a 5-channel data collector, which is the core component of the ECH2O soil moisture monitoring system and can be connected to any type of ECH2O system sensor. The sensor can be directly used by inserting it into any of the 5 channels, making the operation very simple. The Em50 is installed in an O-ring sealed rainproof protective box, making it an ideal choice for long-term outdoor monitoring. The battery type Em50 has very low power consumption, reading 1 data per minute, and the battery can be used continuously for 1 year. The ECH2O Utility software can be used to set dates, times, measurement intervals, and data collection.
According to different monitoring requirements, the Em50 can be configured with a variety of sensors, including ECH2O soil moisture sensor, MPS-6 soil water potential sensor, rain Gauge sensor, Drain Gauge soil infiltration meter, relative humidity/temperature sensor, etc.
