Gentec-EO IS12L-9S-RSi-INT-D0 Integrating sphere detector for laser power measurement up to 9 W.

Measure from low powers to the multi-kilowatt level with a single device

The broad dynamic range and very low noise equivalent power (NEP) of the IS integrating spheres provide users the ability to measure several lasers with different average powers with only one device.

Outstanding signal-to-noise ratios (SNR)

No need to change detector or manage attenuation when the measured power spans a wide range

Lower initial and maintenance costs compared to buying multiple detectors to cover the same range

Monitor high-power lasers at high speed

Thanks to their photodiode-based sensor, power meters of the IS series measure in under 200 ms, tens of times faster than with thermal detectors.

Diffused back-reflections confined in an angular cone

While thermal detectors and water calorimeters diffusely reflect 10% to 15% of the incoming light in a Lambertian manner, integrating spheres of the IS series reflect only 6% to 12% more directionally through their optical aperture. This helps improve safety in the measurement environment by making it easier to deal with back reflections.

Fast response in the VIS-NIR range with a silicon absorber and the IS series

Photodiode-based detector offering a fast response for VIS-NIR wavelength. Our silicon absorber makes it possible to measure very low powers down to the microwatt level. Its damage thresholds are higher than any other “white” coatings on the market.
